Traditional silversmithing meets 21st century technology

Clive Taylor designs and makes elegant functional objects incorporating a unique blend of traditional silversmithing and modern technology.  His passion is creating high quality precision pieces enhanced by a diversity of skills gained from working as a time served toolmaker, laser specialist and software engineer.

Clive has always worked within manufacturing.  As an apprentice toolmaker he won a number of vocational and academic awards while receiving first class training with a leading automotive supplier in his home town of Leamington Spa.  He embraced new technology and went on to work for a machine tool supplier as a laser cutting and laser marking specialist. Progressing into software development he worked throughout Europe including London Assay Office which fuelled his passion for silversmithing.
